Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Spiritual disciplines are "activities" of the spiritual life that align a person with the things of God. The disciplines do not make us more spiritual, but are designed to be "grooves of grace" to get us out of the "rut" of dull spiritual living. There is no official list of disciplines. But, the historically classic disciplines include:
Prayer Fasting Meditation Silence Solitude Verse memory Study Reading
You might take a look at Richard Foster's "Celebration of Discipline" or Donald Whitney's "The Spirit of the Disciplines" for more information.
