When I noticed that you hadn't posted for 2 weeks, I was kind of hoping that you had taken your own advice/sermon to heart and had been cutting back to "recapture your joy". Guess not.:-) Or maybe you HAVE been listening to yourself and have cut your list from 99 to just 10!

This Christmas season, I am becoming increasingly aware of how HORRIBLE we as a society have made this most beautiful of times. From people being trampled to death at Wal-Mart to buying our kids so many toys that they get worn out opening them. At our home, we're going to re-think what Christmas should be. I'm thinking that we need to radically switch the emphasis to giving gifts to those who have nothing...to bringing food to those who are hungry...to praying quietly to our shepherd, Jesus, who came as a tiny baby to die for us. Now THAT is something to celebrate! God bless you and yours...may we cry with the sad, hurt with the hurting, love the unlovable, and touch the untouchable...for then we will begin to know Jesus' heart.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
